Latta Real Estate Services, Inc. was established by Thomas and Carol Latta in 1990, in an effort to provide professional property management and leasing services to a few clients who had requested assistance in managing their growing portfolios of single family residential investment properties.
Over the ensuing years and exclusively by word of mouth referral, the firm began a strong & steady growth pattern which continues to the present day. LATTA Real Estate Services, Inc. currently manages almost 500 residential units, comprised entirely of single family homes, duplexes, four-plexes and small apartment buildings throughout the greater Kansas City, MO area and surrounding counties.
Our efforts to provide professional property management and leasing services, together with sales of small residential investment properties are guided by our commitment to provide the highest level of professional service at a reasonable cost to our clients. Our affiliations with the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and the National, State and Local Associations of REALTORS (NAR, MAR and KCRAR) help us to stay informed of the latest trends and issues affecting our industry and to remain on the cutting edge of technological innovation.

Thomas and Carol Latta established LATTA Real Estate Services, Inc. in January 1990. “Tom” entered the real estate business in 1974 and was active in conventional real estate sales and brokerage until 1990, when he was approached by one of his investment buyers about the possibility of taking over the management of his investment portfolio. Tom remains active in investment property acquisitions and sales, and serves as Property Manager of Management Groups #2 & #3, while Carol pursues her career in real estate sales.

Nikki Kobel joined the company in 2007 and is our Reception Ambassador, responsible for an active switchboard that averages well over 200 incoming calls per day. “Nikki's” pleasant and professional reception makes owners and tenants alike feel right at home. She is also responsible for application processing, insurance and utilities tracking, and assists the rest of our staff during periods of high workload.
