Latta Real Estate Services, Inc. was established by Thomas and Carol Latta in 1990, in an effort to provide professional property management and leasing services to a few clients who had requested assistance in managing their growing portfolios of single family residential investment properties.

Over the ensuing years and exclusively by word of mouth referral, the firm began a strong & steady growth pattern which continues to the present day. LATTA Real Estate Services, Inc. currently manages almost 700 residential units, comprised entirely of single family homes, duplexes, four-plexes and small apartment buildings throughout the greater Kansas City, MO area and surrounding counties.

Our efforts to provide professional property management and leasing services, together with sales of small residential investment properties are guided by our commitment to provide the highest level of professional service at a reasonable cost to our clients. Our affiliations with the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and the National, State and Local Associations of REALTORS (NAR, MAR and KCRAR) help us to stay informed of the latest trends and issues affecting our industry and to remain on the cutting edge of technological innovation.

We have never forgotten that our success is dependent solely upon the satisfaction of our client-owners and customer-tenants, both of which can be achieved through integrity, courtesy, respect and efficiency in all that we do.


Thomas and Carol Latta, Owners, established LATTA Real Estate Services, Inc. in January 1990. Thomas entered the real estate business in 1974 and was active in conventional real estate sales and brokerage until 1990, when he was approached by one of his investment buyers about the possibility of taking over the management of his investment portfolio. Tom remains active in investment property acquisitions and sales, and serves as Senior Property Manager of Management Groups #2 and #3, while Carol pursues her career in real estate sales.

Leslie N Feldkamp, RMP, Senior Property Manager and REALTOR, is responsible for Management Groups #1 and #4. Leslie joined the company in 1995 and has been instrumental ever since in its growth and success. She has proven herself indispensable, in her ability to handle any and every situation with efficiency and professionalism. Leslie is a member of and the company's primary representative to the National Association of Rental Property Managers

Jenny M Latta, Property Manager and Leasing Agent, is responsible for Management Groups #2 and #3. Jenny joined the company in 2004 as a weekend receptionist and was promoted to her current position in January 2007. She's learned the ropes quickly and performs her responsibilities with speed, efficiency and excellent attention to detail. She is a member of the National Association of Rental Property Managers

Justin T Whitlatch, Property Manager and Leasing Agent, is responsible for Management Groups #1 and #4. Justin joined the company in 2006 and moved to his current position as property manager in October 2008, bringing with him a sincere committment to serve his clients and customers with only the highest level of professionalism and dedication. Sabrina Jay, Bookkeeper and Accounts Payable Manager, is responsible for processing of all company and management payables, receivables and employee payroll. Sabrina joined the company in 2003 and has exhibited the ability to handle her assigned duties with a high level of efficiency and attention to detail. She's the one you can always count on, day in and day out!

Nikki Kobel, Reception Ambassador, is responsible for an active switchboard that averages well over 200 incoming calls per day. She is also responsible for application processing, insurance and utilities tracking, and assists the rest of our staff during periods of high workload. Nikki joined the company in 2007, and her outgoing personality and professional reception helps owners and tenants alike realize they've made the right decision.

Andrew J Latta, Quality Control Inspector, is responsible for conducting all of our "Interim" and "Move-Out" inspections and reports. Having joined the company in 1999, he also assists our Pinnacle Maintenance Services technicians during high work loads, and is a REALTOR and Leasing Agent who works hard to help his customers find that just right home for their family.

Don McCoy, Maintenance Technician/Scheduler, handles all of our maintenance scheduling in addition to running service calls for Pinnacle Maintenance Services. Don joined the company in 2007 and his specialties include electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, and is certified in HVAC. He can handle almost anything sent his way and is conscientous about quality in the completed effort.

Jamie N Latta Jr, Get Ready Technician with Pinnacle Maintenance Services, assists in make ready efforts on our vacant units. Jamie joined the company in 2002 and his specialties include tile work, electrical, plumbing, appliance and minor HVAC repairs. His efforts at detail make the quality of his work exceptional.

Adam Davis, Get Ready Technician with Pinnacle Maintenance Services, assists in make ready efforts on our vacant units. Adam joined the company in 2006 and his specialty is drywall repairs and painting, in addition to minor electrical and plumbing repairs or replacements. His attention to detail and pride of workmanship, make our vacant units shine in the marketplace.

Scott White, Maintentance/Repair Technician with Pinnacle Maintenance Services, runs service calls on our occupied units. Scott joined the company in 2008, and his specialties include electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, and is certified in HVAC. He can handle almost anything sent his way and is conscientous about quality in the completed effort.

James Norland, Get Ready Technician with Pinnacle Maintenance Services, assists in make ready efforts on our vacant units. James re-joined the company in 2009 and his specialty is painting and drywall repairs, in addition to minor electrical and plumbing repairs or replacements. His years of experience allow us to know that when the job is done, it's done right!
